Coincidentally, I also got an email from a member of Saddleback Church with a promise of prayer and a mention to Rick Warren.

My comment about the success of PDL is that is a new type of product, a purple cow, if you will. The product is the wide distribution of religious messages thru existing churches. It will be just the first step, and perhaps that why it wasn't perfect. My new buddy at Saddleback says Rick is working on a new program. We are the same point as websites were in 1995. Rick was smart to start this with a very Bible-based program. Hopefully this quality can remain and we don't get saddled with a lot of fluff or too much slickness. In the end, this type of program has the potential to change worship in America!
