Traffic-Power is evil. Since my recent Scum Alert, I’ve done some more investigating. The best news is that Google is dropping entire sites with TP’s ‘mouseover’ style of keyword-stuffed pages.
Here are some anti-Traffic-Power sites:
- SEOconsultants.com has a pretty good resource site for TP clients, including instructions on how to document what TP did, and fix it.
- You gotta love this site: www.trafficpowersucks.com, which includes scanned copies of the TP telemarketing guide.
- There is a law office investigating the possibility of a class-action lawsuit against TP
- If you want to see all their link farms, try this search in Google. Pick a couple URLs from these, then try to find them in Google–nada.

Traffic-Power deceives Mississippi Printing Co., Inc.
My name is Robert H. Hardin, Jr. and I am the President/CEO of Mississippi Printing Co., Inc. located in Greenwood, Mississippi. We have been on the internet since 2001 and I would never have thought what has happen could ever be. Unfortunately, it appears my company has fallen victim to the allleged business practices of a firm known as Traffic-Power.com. Our site has been banned with absolutely no warning from Google while Traffic-Power.com claims no wrong doing. Ladies and gentlement, this is wrong and I am certain there are any number of honest, reputable companies out there that have fallen victim to these deceptive practices as well. I believe Google has taken the wrong approach to cleaning up bad SEO’s, especially in regard to their innocent clients. Needless to say, my company, with certainty, is being forced to file suite against Traffic-Power.com for putting us in this position, but far worse against Google for squashing the most viable market we have, the internet. I’m certain, I’m not the only one out there that feels this way. I would like to hear from those that are in the same situation. Perhaps in numbers we can at least convence Google that it is wrong to put the mark in jail. Below, I have enclosed an e-mail directed to Google in hopes that common sense prevail. Your comments are welcome and if there is any interest in joining me in a class action, please come forward for Google has left me no choice.

Gentlemen,
Upon further investigation, it has been concluded that there is absolutely nothing on our site that would warrant Google to continue to block mississippiprinting.com form the index. To continue would compound the damage to our company perhaps to the point of failure. Regardless of what Google feels their legal position is, such persistence would show a distinct lack of good faith on Google’s part and would certainly force perhaps thousands of companies to pursue legal action not only against Traffic-Power but Google as well. This is not a threat, it is a reality and I respectfully ask that mississippiprinting.com be reinstated to the index immediately or I will have no other choice than to seek an immediate legal remedy against both Google and Traffic-Power. I can hardly believe that Google would choose to further damage respectable businesses because of the alleged bogus practices of a third party and why on earth did Google not respect these companies, especially their customers, enough to warn them of their ultimate action. You apparently have the technology to detect unacceptable practices on the web yet you choose not to use your technology to warn innocent businesses and good customers that there is a no-no going on. I guess that is just too simple. This is not right!
It’s certain I’m not the only victim of the alleged bogus business practices of this company. Also, I’m certain there are many like me that had no clue that such action by Google without some warning would be the outcome for using this company. This reminds me of grammar school when the bad kids would deceivingly pat you on the back while sticking a big “Kick Me” sign to your shirt for all to see but you. After a couple of big kicks in the seat the game is figured out and everything and everyone goes back to normal. I expect to be put back whole in this matter with everything put back to normal. I am an innocent third party. The problem has come to my attention and action has been taken to eliminate it, yet I’m facing the possibility of losing my business for being blocked from the index because of what somebody else did.
The 64,000 dollar question is this, “It would stand to reason that if Google chooses to align my practices with those of Traffic-Power, why is it that Google still allows me to spend $2,500.00–$3,000.00 a month with AdWords if I am as unscrupulous as the real culprit?” This being the case, would it not also stand to reason that Google just quit doing business with me all together. Gentlemen, don’t be two faced about this. It will appear that banning innocent companies from the index would force a boost in AdWord revenue, a pretty steamy practice in itself. I will expect an answer to this question. An answer that is something other than Google search and Google AdWords are two different divisions. You can hardly expect businesses to allow you to bite one hand while being fed with the other.
This issue must be resolve immediately. I will expect a definite answer from Google within 72 hours as to whether it intends to further damage my company by continuing their block on mississippiprinting.com. or not. In all fairness, which there seems to be little on Google’s part at this point, this is a simple enough request. My lively hood is at stake and it can not be ignored. If Google intends to continue this banning, I will have to take the appropriate action. So, if this is the position Google intends to continue with, there is no real reason to avoid the declaration of such intent. If mississippiprinting.com has not been reinstated to the index or their has been no response to this e-mail within this time frame, I will have to assume it is, “To Hell with Mississippi Printing Co.” and perhaps thousands of other reputable companies.
I have not written this request to intimidate or threaten Google into any sort of submission. I just want you to do the right thing. I’m certain there are perhaps some underlying legal issues Google may be considering in this matter. I’m even certain that you feel comfortable banning innocent companies from your index. However, I for one, will have no choice than to test that theory. If I appear to be a bit hostile, I apologize. Unfortunately, I AM REALLY MAD for being put in this position. However, hopefully common sense and good judgment will prevail or it will be a real can of worms. I only wish to clearly point out the gravity of this situation for Mississippi Printing Co. and Google as well. It is my opinion that Google is on the threshold of some extremely bad press for squeezing the little guy while sitting back perhaps saying the clients of Traffic-Power should have know better. I’m sure there is a better approach to weeding out the bad SEO’s. People are deceived every day and I have yet seen the first report of any court in this country putting the con man’s “Mark” in jail.
Google has put the mark in jail.
There’s something wrong with this picture.
Your immediate attention and favorable consideration in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to an expedited response.

Its interesting that all the links you provide to atest to the villians hiding under the mask of Traffic-power.com actually ultimately lead back to just one page. Talk about mis-representation. You are simply doing the same song and dance as Google. “Traffic-power.com” would not happen to be a competitor of yours would they. How sad it is when companies revert to mud-slinging and lies in order to gain a customer base. You could not be any more transparent in your vain attempts to steal customers.
