SEO more important than Content? Duh.

Great horse-before-the-cart thinking from Mike Boyink:

Just a Thought…

…If the folks responsible for writing content for a website obsessed over their work like the folks worried about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) then the SEO guys probably wouldn’t be needed….

  1. I’d wager a guess that those who <>most often<> are “obsessed” with their web copy are those writing on behalf their own site. Website owners more often write their own copy as apposed to outsourcing to copywriters. If monetization is the goal, their obsession is probably surrounding copy that <>converts<>. Marketing message, calls to action, etc; none of which has to do with a search engine friendly site structure… (?) Not to be contrary, orfcourse. only meaning that even usable, relevant copy that is adequately keyword saturated is all but null in the absence of certain SEO practices.~ SEO Clare | ecreativeworks | < HREF="http://www.ecreativeworks.com/searchenginemarketing.htm" REL="nofollow">Industrial Search Engine Marketing <>
