I’m at a show this week. Its a whole different world for a couple days.

    Pretty accurate little ditty. A lot of salespeople I meet hate doing trade shows. And for good reason. Most of them have no idea how to effectively market at trade shows.< />< />I have a couple of friends who are trade show consultants and they help companies design booths that actually keep time-wasters and "browsers" away from their booths so the only people that drop by are seriously interested.< />< />Then they help them set up tracking systems so they can determine ROI. Turns out a lot of companies are wasting money on trade shows because they don't know how to effectively use them.< />< />There are times when a coach or consultant is a pretty good thing.
