YAD is my short-hand for ‘Yet Another Directory’.

As such, I won’t spend a lot of time analyzing it. It promises all the benefits of ‘.tel’ domain ownership matched with keyword tagging to connect businesses with searchers. I kinda get it, but not sold on any value. What do you think?

    Definitely a well developed site, using “new media” as their biggest push…I’m envious of their video tutorials, but am not sure how valuable the service is in regards to increasing online visibility. What about product searches?

We have developed the site to be keyword driven which puts the search user in the driver’s seat. If you search on a keyword or keyword phrase you will NOT get any irrelevant results. There are no categories and sub-categories to be shoe-horned into. Better search results will lead to a larger share of industrial searches. Additionally, industrialwebsearch.com is making it to the first page of google search results for many keywords. This will be a huge benefit to our members’ online visibility and will lead to incremental sales.
